Many of us are students at Iowa, and I consider myself a student of life, so this week, I featured some scientific and educational vinyl that have caught my eye, but haven't listened to yet.

Rusty in Orchestraville is one of the first records to feature electronically synthesized sound. The producers used a technology called the Sonovox. If you don't recognize Ken Nordine's name, you will probably recognize his voice. He's best known for his work "Word Jazz".
